October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease and Midwest Tinting is proud to be part of sharing the news. According to the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, “Breast cancer is one of the most common kinds of cancer in women. About 1 in 8 women born today in the United States will get breast cancer at some point. The good news is that most women can survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early. A mammogram – the screening test for breast cancer – can help find breast cancer early when it’s easier to treat. National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a chance to raise awareness about the importance of finding breast cancer early.” We have also included thus link to a “Know Your Symptoms” brochure provided by the National Breast Cancer Foundation. You can find it by clicking HERE.
You can also do your part to increase awareness. PLEASE SHARE the page at the button below from the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
At Midwest Tinting, we understand the importance of early detection when it comes to cancer. Although not specific to breast cancer, Midwest Tinting is involved in helping to share the news about cancer prevention all year long as our window film products offer protection against skin related cancers. Our UV blocking window film can help protect a persons skin while sitting in a vehicle, in an office or at home.
So, to act as a reminder during the month of October and beyond, we are offering a free can of our high performance, streak free glass cleaner for aftercare of your window tint and a pink koozie with any window tint purchase. Hopefully this free koozie will help remind you of Breast Cancer Awareness every time you use it. Just stop into or call any one of our three convenient Kansas City area locations to schedule your installation and get your free gift.
