What to expect when getting paint protection

After looking up, calling in, or stopping by the shop to get pricing (includes material and labor) for your specific vehicle the next step is setting your appointment at one of our 3 convenient locations. Installation time is subject to the amount of coverage being applied. Upon checking in, a Midwest Tinting certified Xpel installer will go over the work to be done. This ensures you, our valued customer, in getting exactly what you want and need. At this time if there are any issues that need to be looked at such as previous rock chips or scratches, other defects in paint, they can be addressed. Once your vehicle is pulled into our paint protection bay, we do clean and wipe down the surface eliminating dirt and grime which provides a clean final product. Once this is done, the application process begins.
Care Instructions: Do not wash for 72 hours, elements such as rain or snow do not effect cure time and will not harm your newly installed paint protection film. We recommend hand washing for the first 30 days after application. Once your 30 days is up, you are free to use your normal automated carwash. Please keep in mind power washing wands, they do have enough PSI to damage and delaminate your film causing void to your warranty. We recommend standing 2-3 feet back using sweeping or circular motions and keeping away from edges.

A common complaint amongst our consumers is the silicon center console that a lot of newer cars have. This can become a problem area, which easily attracts floating dust, scratches, and swirl marks.

We can protect this area too! We’ve got multiple solutions for this, such as XPEL Ultimate, XPEL Stealth, or wrapping it in vinyl.
